Delicious food and healthy eating have always been at the heart of my cooking career. Using locally produced, seasonal and sustainable ingredients is something that I am passionate about. Encouraging and educating people to eat healthily through talks and demonstrations is something I love doing. It is truly rewarding to see how small changes in people’s diets can make huge improvements in their well-being.

Having initially learnt my cooking skills at Cordon Bleu in London, my cooking journey has led me to working abroad, establishing myself as a Directors’ Dining cook in the City, as well being a freelance cook engaging in product launches, shop openings, roof top canapé parties, indulgent dinners and ‘on location catering.’

On leaving London I headed to rural Herefordshire where my husband was farming and embraced the new challenge of launching my freelance cooking business using local produce and minimising the carbon footprint. Throughout my time in Herefordshire I have trodden many different paths, including working as an event organiser, school cook and supporting local food businesses. But it was through the encouragement of so many people that I learnt to share my passion for food, leading me to teaching cooking, doing cookery demonstrations and engaging with schools and early years settings to spread the importance of healthy eating, growing your own produce and trying to inspire and educate each generation to take ownership of their future well-being and their environment.

Over the last 5 years I have been building a brand within an early years setting in Herefordshire producing fresh, healthy and delicious food for their two nurseries using only fresh produce.

Today I am incorporating all three of my influences, bringing under one umbrella my love of cooking through my freelancing, the ability to educate and influence the well-being of our future generations and ‘popping up’ at events providing delicious food in fun locations, whilst bringing friends and communities together through the love of food……
